Update as of November 2024
Sight Calc has a new interface which is supposed to be an improvement. It also now costs $1.99 at the Apple App store whereas before it was free. In addition it is approved for use with US Power Squadron courses.
I did not upgrade mine as I have the free version and I am comfortable with the original interface. But if I did not I would not hesitate to pay $1.99 for this very useful app.
As before there is no plotting and no ephermeris data, just straight forward sight reduction. It is very useful to use as a check as you are learning to use traditional tables, and to have for sight reduction in general.
