Analog or Digital time display
#1
Do you have a preference for time display?

Which do you like better?  Analog or digital?

Do any of you use mechanical watches (not quartz)?  Now wouldn't it just be nice to have a Rolex GMT Master?!

In desperation I've searched the web to hear the sound of a Rolex or Piaget ticking but haven't found anything!

Analog is beautiful and digital is ugly....except when it comes to taking a sight.  A digital watch is very good as you don't have to "think" about what you're seeing and the need to interpret the time result.

That being said- analog will always be superior in beauty.  And, "a thing of beauty is a joy forever"

I agree with Carlos.
I have a GPS sporting watch which updates the times automatically whenever I connect to the system. I'm able to display two different time zones. My home zone and London England, the same time zone as Greenwich. The negative is, it doesn't display GMT specifically. I understand GPS time is now about 18 seconds ahead of UTC time which has to be taken into account. The 2nd zone (London England) is a separate time system and they have daylight savings time there so it's off by an hour for part of the year. As long as I remember that and the offset , no problem.

I used to be a normal person, then I discovered how to locate myself on this planet using a star.
