Happy 5th day of 2025 to you all. I've looked at a couple sextants in a thrift store recently. One of them is labeled as a 1997 Cassens & Plath Horizon Ultra sextant. It has a cable that is unconnected to anything. Is it a cable that goes from a battery to a light in the optic? Click on this temporary link to see 4 photos of the sextant.
