Index cards are very handy for writing down shots- it's what I use.
Maybe there's a quicker and easier way- what do you write the sights down on?

Index cards are about the best I can come up with. Tried a notebook, paper, but didn't work too well.
Use pencils are my favorite, the mechanical type.
Is there a spell checker on this forum?

A while back I tried a "leg board" like pilots use. It was ok but tended to drift down my leg. Perhaps an "arm board" would be better?
Until then- index cards on a split ring work well.
