I am confused as to why there is HP data posted on the daily pages for venus and mars.
If and when, would be my question, do we use this correction???

Practically, there's no need to correct for HP when using Venus or Mars. However, they do have a sensible diameter, like the moon. If you're inclined to get even better accuracy correct for their HP.

Sooooo, Fred. What I understand from your post and supplement is that one has little need to include venus or mars hp corrections unless accuracy of the highest order is required... I get that. Thanks. However, Why is there not a mars/venus correction table included in the almanacs on this site? The mars/venus correction factor is left to dangle like a modifier.
Your upload is from a different text from which id like to learn. According to the sheet you sent, the author advises that his tables must be applied separately because he does not combine multiple corrections within a single, such as we find in say Sun altitude corrections listed in the more popular nautical almanacs.
